Weddings. A stylish affair

Wedding season is upon us and it's front and center of mind today as I am officiating a dear friends wedding. It's been a while since I last officiated a wedding, as I haven't had the time. I put a lot into writing the ceremony and making sure I capture as much of the spirit of the couple a I can. You'd think it would be easier doing a friends wedding but, I think it's more consuming. Only because you know so much it's hard to edit.

I'm a heart centered person at the best of times, add in a wedding, that I get to write for you...and you get the best of me. I think. I also love to dress up for it.

As an officiant, I have my 'outfit' - I'm not a traditional person and I'm not religious...which people understand when they choose me for their wedding. They know they are not getting someone conservative.
