A boho indo-polska wedding in Goa

THE BRIDESMAIDS

What do you get when you pair a handsome polish guy, a beautiful Indian woman, a lifetime of travel and a love of the beach? An exotic, colorful wedding on the beach in India attended by almost every nationality in the world.

I was blessed, and honored, to be a bridesmaid for this special couple; Andrew & Anjalika. We met when I ran my retreats at the property they manage in Goa; The Manadala. It was an immediate connection that's been nurtured for the past 4 years.

Nine bridesmaids with the only instruction to wear colors of the sunset: fuschia, corals, orange and blue if we wanted; but not red. That's the color for the bride. Most of us hadn't met each other before the wedding but we were all connected through Anj and she has the most sacred of souls and a big creative vision so I had no doubt we'd all get along.

The above photos capture only a snippet of the magic and beauty of the day. You can't taste the warm, salty air or feel the gentle breeze or the full orange light of the sunset. This was by far one of the most colorful and beautiful wedding I've been in. The easy, laid back bohemian vibe, the sincerity of the ceremony, the free-flowing love and blessings; it all came together beautifully.
